Four-member Japanese rock band Survive Said The Prophet has released a music video for their new song "Paradox," which is now featured as the opening theme for the second cour of the ongoing second season of the VINLAND SAGA TV anime. Their 2019 digital single song "MUKANJYO" was also used as the opening theme for the first cour of the anime's first season. The CD single is set to be released on May 17.

The band was formed in 2011, then made their major debut from Sony Music Records in September 2018. They have previously provided the theme songs for CODE GEASS Lelouch of the Rebellion: Episode III Glorification (2018), BANANA FISH (2018), and Tokyo 24th Ward (2022).
As their first attempt, they collaborated with "360 Reality Audio," an audio format using Sony's (object-based) 360 Spatial Sound technology. The music video is inspired by the word "contradiction," which is also the key word in the song, and depicts a world in which one loses one's self and one's emotions. As a unique "360 Reality Audio" initiative, the clip is full of details that dynamically create a 360-degree soundscape outside of the viewer's head.
