JUJUTSU KAISEN Season2 Hidden Inventory / Premature Death New Trailer, Shibuya Incident Anime Character Artwork Released
The next season of the JUJUTSU KAISEN TV anime is close and to get fans excited for the upcoming two arcs, during the MAPPA STAGE 2023 today a new trailer for the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc and character artwork for the Shibuya Incident arc was released ahead of the series premiere on July 6.
Firstly, the new Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc trailer previews the opening theme song "Ao no Sumika" by Tatsuya Kitani.
And secondly, updated character artwork for the Shibuya Incident arc featuring Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo and more.
Up first for JUJUTSU KAISEN Season2 is the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc featuring a younger Gojo, Nanami and more from their school days, followed by the highly anticipated Shibuya Incident arc. Shouta Goshozono (JUJUTSU KAISEN episode 17 key animator) has taken over as director of the series with the animation being produced at MAPPA. The series premieres in Japan on July 6.

The JUJUTSU KAISEN anime returns on July 6 after the series’ prequel film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0 brought in over 24.25 billion yen (around US$180 million) around the world. Crunchyroll is streaming both the first season of the MAPPA-produced anime alongside the anime film. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses... and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
