In the lead-up to the release of the Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film on June 16, four character trailers will be released. The first of these trailers was released today and features the lovable main character Asta as he takes on the goal of becoming a magic emperor head-on.
Furthermore, the series announced that another stage event for the anime film will be held in Japan on June 17, the day after the movie’s release, at Shinjuku Piccadilly. Tickets for the stage event will be on sale through lottery until May 31.

The Black Clover TV anime ran for 170 episodes from October 3, 2017, to March 30, 2021, with Crunchyroll streaming the series as it aired. The Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King anime film will be streaming on Netflix worldwide on June 16, the same day as its Japanese theatrical release. Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
