Voice actor agency I'm Enterprise announced on May 29 that Saori Onishi (Miyako Shikimori in Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie) will restrict some of her activities due to health issues.
According to the agency, Onishi has recently been experiencing dizziness and difficulty breathing. In consultation with her doctor, she still has been active while canceling some of her appearances. However, to take all possible measures, the agency has decided they must prioritize the recovery of her health. For now, she will continue her activities within her comfort zone.
The agency offers this apology at the end of the statement: "We sincerely apologize to all parties who have been cooperating with us for some time, as well as to all concerned parties and fans, for the great concern and inconvenience this will cause. We ask for your kind understanding and forgiveness."
In the ongoing spring 2023 season, Onishi is cast as Momoko Maeda in My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999, Milly in The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far, Dezastol in Summoned to Another World for a Second Time, Yuki Sumi in Oshi no Ko, and Amaryllis in Dr.STONE NEW WORLD.
