Bandai Toy Division will release "S.J.H.U.PROJECT Shin Universe Robo," a robot toy in which four characters from Shin Godzilla, Shin Evangelion (Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time), Shin Ultraman, and Shin Kamen Rider combine into one, at the price of 23,100 yen (167 USD).
A spectacular PV introducing the robot, directed by legendary tokusatsu director Hiroshi Butsuda (Super Sentai series, Kamen Rider series) is now streamed! The song featured in the video is "Tsumi to Batsu Inorazaru Mono yo" (Crime and Punishment, Those who don't pray) sung by none other than the Evangelion theme singer Yoko Takahashi.
As its name suggests, this robot toy will be released from Shin Japan Heroes Universe, a collaboration project of the four "Shin" films in which Hideaki Anno participated: Shin Godzilla, Shin Evangelion, Shin Ultraman, and Shin Kamen Rider. The project launched in 2022 and has been using the four characters to develop a variety of events and collaboration products.
