Earlier this month, The Pokémon Company International announced that Pokémon HOME, an application that holds Pokémon caught by trainers which span the Nintendo Switch and smartphones, will finally be updated to become compatible with the latest games in the series, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Today, the company confirmed that the compatibility will be coming over the next week.
Note that this update could take until 5/30 at 11pm PT to complete. Thank you for your patience.

Maintenance of Pokémon HOME begins on May 29 at 5 PM Pacific time, or 9 AM Japan time on May 30, to bring the application to 3.0 and with it, more features and connectivity with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. The updating process could take over a day to complete.
This brings Pokémon Scarlet and Violet in line with the other Pokémon Nintendo Switch games, allowing Pokémon from every game to move in and out however the trainer chooses, though moves and other details may be different depending on the game.

To celebrate the update, trainers who add a Pokémon from Paldea to Pokémon HOME will receive a Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly with their hidden abilities.
