The undead come alive in the upcoming Undead Murder Farce TV anime, which adapts the novels by Yugo Aosaki, with the announcement that Reina Kondo (Hana Ichinose in Slow Start) will be joining the cast as the vampire Carmilla, who hails from Austria and prefers the blood of women.

Mamoru Hatakeyama (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War?) directs Undead Murder Farce at Lapintrack with scripts written by Noboru Takagi (Durarara!!), character designs drawn by Noriko Ito (Yuri!!! On Ice) and Naho Kozono (Golden Kamuy) and music from Yuma Yamaguchi (Project X Zone 2). The series premieres this July and is described as such:
The 19th century — a world inhabited by vampires, golems, werewolves and other paranormal creatures. Immortal beauty and disembodied head Aya Rindo, along with half-human-half-demon "Demon Killer" Tsugaru Shunichi and her loyal maid Shizuku Hasei, travels through Europe as supernatural detective "The Cage User," solving supernatural mysteries while she searches for her lost body.
