Ageha Hijiri / Cure Batterfly:

Cure Butterfly has appeared in the opening and ending movies, as well as in the key visuals, since the launch of the series. However, this is the first time in the franchise that it has taken this long for a confirmed Precure character to appear in the main storyline. The anime's official Japanese website has released the character's voice cast, Ayaka Nanase's comments on the much-awaited role.

Q: How did you feel when you were chosen to play the role of Cure Butterfly and how enthusiastic were you?

Actually, I remember that my mind went blank with joy and surprise when I found out that I had been chosen for the role as a surprise from everyone at the office. I spent many days not being able to tell anyone that I had been chosen until the cast was revealed, so I was in agony all by myself, while my enjoyment was growing.

I am honored to be able to join the successive generation of Precures, and I want to do my best to live up to my seniors!

Q: What is the charm of the character Ageha Hijiri so far? Also, what should we look for in her in the future?

Among the episodes aired so far, the fourth episode in which she made her first appearance and the eleventh episode in which she went to the mountains have left a particularly strong impression on me.

She is the first "adult Precure," and as an 18-year-old big sister, she is able to easily say what is on the menu at a fashionable café, and she can drive a car and go anywhere by herself. I think her such independence is cool and the most attractive thing about Ageha-chan.

She is a bright, energetic, and humorous character, but on the other hand, she is a girl with a strong core in her heart, striving to become the strongest nursery teacher.

I look forward to playing that part of the character in the future. I also hope that you will pay attention to her future relationships with the other characters.

Q. This work marks the 20th anniversary of Precure. What do you thinhk about the charms and memories of the Precure series?

I think the charm of Precure is that it is something that everyone aspires to be. When I was in high school, I watched "Suite Precure♪" in real time.

At the time, I was just starting to aspire to be a voice actor, and I had a vague idea, "I want to be a cute and cool Precure someday!" Thankfully, I have made a guest appearance in "Go! Princess Precure" and "Healin' Good♥Precure" and have auditioned for Precure in the past.

Among them, I feel it was my destiny to meet Cure Butterfly, and I am really happy.

Q. Please give a message to the viewers.

I am honored to be involved in the 20th series of Precure, which has a long history. I hope I also can send out the sparkling dreams and hopes of Precure, which is filled with the thoughts of many people. I will do my best to be a source of energy and courage in your daily lives. Please continue to support "Soaring Sky Precure!"
