Hinatazaka46 Member Hinano Kamimura to Star in Do It Yourself!! Live-Action Drama

The official website for the forthcoming live-action TV drama adaptation of the DIY-themed original TV anime Do It Yourself!! has announced its main cast members, including idol group Hinatazaka46 member Hinano Kamimura as the protagonist Serufu Yua.

This is Kamimura's first leading role in a TV drama. "Serufu is clumsy and always makes mistakes, but the way she tries so hard to do her best is so adorable. I loved her the moment I saw her," she said. "I feel that she has many things in common with myself, such as the fact that I often daydream, and I am very happy to be able to play this role! Through the story of the gradual growth of the members of the DIY club, I hope that many people will experience the appeal of the DIY drama and the fun of making things in DIY!"

The six main cast members revealed are:

The live-action TV drama Do It Yourself!! is set to premiere on the MBS/TBS network's "Dramaism" programming block on July 4, 2023. Mamoru Yoshino, who worked on the well-received live-action TV drama adaptation of Laid Back Camp in 2020 and 2021, is attached to direct.

The Pine Jam-produced TV anime Do It Yourself!! was aired for 12 episode from October to December 2022. All episodes are available on Crunchyroll for members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS.

Building furniture and friendships have a lot in common. Intention, effort, and hard work are needed for both crafts.
