The Demon Girl Next Door Manga Resumes Serialization

Yuko Yoshida, the protagonist of The Demon Girl Next Door TV anime, is surprised to discover a forked tail and a set of curly rams horns sprouting from her body.

Some good news for fans of the daily misadventures of Shadow Mistress Yuko: Izumo Ito's supernatural comedy manga, The Demon Girl Next Door (known as Machikado Mazoku in Japan), has resumed serialization in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat seinen manga magazine after a lengthy hiatus due to the author's medical issues.

The series went on hiatus in November of 2019 while Izumo Ito was dealing with autonomic ataxia, a disease that causes dysfunction in the autonomic nervous system that the author was diagnosed with approximately two years ago. In a post to their official Twitter feed (above), Ito included a celebratory image and thanked the fans for their support.
