TOHO animation's Anime Music Video Project "Wonderism" Releases Its First Clip Filled with Adventure

    "Wonderism: Kimi wo Yobu Koe ( The Voice That Calls You )," a new anime music video project by Toho's animation label TOHO animation, has finally posted its first video on YouTube. The story of the project is set in a world where civilization was once lost. The protagonist Natsushima, who lives on a huge floating island made by connecting ships, discovers a mysterious stone that fell from the sky. The stone, which she has never seen before in her life on the ship, leads her out to sea to discover the secrets of the world.   The song featured in the video, "Wonderism" is performed by the four-member Japanese piano rock band Howl Be Quiet ( The Dungeon of Black Company OP theme). The song was also digitally released on March 31. Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest Will Continue This Year, Starts In June

As the smoldering ashes of what was to be the now completely canceled E3 2022 event slowly extinguish, video resident baron of exclusive reveals , Geoff Keighley, is quick to promote his Summer Game Fest will indeed continue this year. In a tweet sent out this afternoon, Keighley confirmed Sumer Game Fest would take place in June with a big Kickoff Live show and more events to follow through the subsequent months. Japanese Publishing Giant Shueisha Establishes Shueisha Games, Introduces First Four Titles

  Shueisha , the Japanese publisher behind Shonen Jump and some of the biggest manga titles in the world, is stepping into the arena of games with a recently established company. Featuring Shinichiro Hirono as representative director and Masahiko Ibaraki, Motokazu Kitabatake, Yoshihisa Heishi and Masana Takahashi as company directors, Shueisha Games currently has multiple titles in the works for later this year and beyond.    Among the revealed games we have tentatively-titled 3D action game ONI , due out on unspecified platforms in 2022. This one is being developed by Small World Entertainment under the direction of Kenei Design.     The Tower of Children is a survival roguelike adventure that's on the way this summer.     Captain Velvet Meteor in The Jump+ Dimensions finds a shy boy named Damien moving to Japan and eventually fighting alongside Shonen Jump+ heroes in his imaginary world. Idol Land Pripara Game App Postponed Once Again to Summer-Fall 2022

    Takara Tomy Arts (T-ARTS Company) announced today that the release of its smartphone game app Idol Land Pripara is once again postponed to the summer or fall of 2022. The app was originally planned to launch in the spring of 2021 and had been postponed to the summer of 2021, then its date was moved to the summer of 2021, then to the spring of 2022.   As with the last time, the company's press release writes, "The launch of the smartphone app Idol Land Pripara, which was scheduled for the spring of 2022, has been postponed in order to improve the game's content and the app's quality. We aim to launch the service in the summer or fall of 2022. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this further delay to those customers who have been looking forward to this title. Toho's Legendary Sci-fi Robot Film GUNHED Gets Blu-ray Release in June 2022

    Toho Visual Entertainment announced on March 30 that the Blu-ray disc of Toho's 1989 sci-fi robot action live-action film GUNHED is finally set to be released in Japan on June 15, 2022. The price of the two-disc set is 8,800 yen (72 USD). Even before the release, it has already ranked No.1 on Amazon Japan's DVD chart .    As the first Japanese sci-fi film featuring realistic giant robots, GUNHED , directed by Masato Harada ( Kamikaze Taxi , The Shadow Spirit ), was released in Japan on July 22, 1989. Koichi Kawakita , who was in charge of the special effects section in all of the Godzilla films in the 1990s, served as the special effects director, and Shoji Kawamori , who has been famous for his Valkyrie variable fighters for the Macross series, worked on the mechanical designs.
