SPY x FAMILY Opening Theme Tops Japan's Spring 2022 TV Anime Karaoke Ranking

Japanese karaoke company Daiichikosho conducted a karaoke ranking survey of theme songs for the TV anime series that started airing in April 2022 on its karaoke on-demand service, DAM (Daiichikosho Amusement Multimedia).

DAM distributed a total of 108 anime theme songs from 48 of the 55 TV anime titles broadcast in the spring of 2022, and the survey was conducted from April 1 to June 30. The most popular song of the spring 2022 season was "Mixed Nuts," the opening theme for SPY x FAMILY performed by four-member rock band Official Hige Dandism. The song was released as the band's seventh digital single on April 15, 2022, then ranked No.1 on Oricon's weekly digital single ranking and has been streamed more than 100,000,000 times. In addition, the anime's ending theme "Comedy" by actor/singer Gen Hoshio followed in second.

Third and fourth place were also taken by the theme songs of another most popular title in the season; "Chikichiki Banban," the opening theme for Ya Boy Kongming! by the music unit QUEENDOM on third, and the anime's ending theme "Kibun Jōjō ↑↑" by Eiko Starring 96Nekos, Zhuge Kongming (Ryotaro Okiayu), Kabetaijin (Shoya Chiba), and Nanami Kuon starring Lezel, ranked fourth.
