The talent agency of voice actor Shun Horie, who is voicing Kazuya Kinoshita in Rent-a-Girlfriend and Kanpei Kuroda in Aoashi, announced today that Horie has tested positive for COVID-19. Due to this, it was confirmed that Horie won't be able to appear at an event for the HANA Doll franchise on July 31, where he voices and performs as the character Setsuna Yashiro.

In a post on the Raccoon Dog talent agency website, the staff said that Shun Horie had tested positive after undergoing a routine PCR test ahead of an event on July 25. The next day the test came back positive. Horie is currently not displaying any symptoms and is classified as being asymptomatic. He's currently recovering at home under the direction of his local health center.
