Haruhi Illustrator Noiji Ito's Shakugan no Shana Art Exhibition to be Held in Akihabara

VISION8, a Tokyo-based company that plans and produces exhibitions and events, will hold "Noiji Ito exhibition: Shakugan no Shana ARTWORKS" at EDITION88@TOKYO ATOM in Akihabara, Tokyo, from August 16 to October 2, 2022. Admission is free.

This event will feature selected illustrations from Yashichiro Takahashi's Shakugan no Shana, Ito's first illustration work for a light novel series. She was originally active in adult PC games, and the success of this Shana series led her to the illustrations for Nagaru Tanigawa's Haruhi Suzumiya series later.

In addition to color illustrations, the exhibition will display a number of rare rough drawings and line drawings that are not usually seen, so visitors can see the creative process of a single illustration at a glance.

A total of 35 works including color illustrations, rough drawings and line drawings will be exhibited, and they will be changed during the two exhibition periods. 17 works will be exhibited in "VOL. 1" from August 16 to September 4, then 18 works will be exhibited in "VOL.2" from September 6 to October 2.
