Jun Maeda's New TV Anime 'The Day I Became a God' Announces Director, Lead Voice Actor

After being announced a few weeks back, more information has descended from the heavens about Jun Maeda's new P.A. Works/Key TV anime The Day I Became a God during a special program that aired on Japanese TV on May 24. Leading the charge for The Day I Became a God is Charlotte director Yoshiyuki Asai, returning as the director once again, with Ayane Sakura as the main character Hina, again returning from voicing the lead female in Charlotte, Nao Tomori.

Hina, a girl who awakens as a God, foreshadows the "end of the world." So, she chooses a boy.

As a companion to watch over, at the end...

 

Joining Jun Maeda on the original story and script is Na-Ga (Angel BeatsCharlotte) as the character designer with animation production at P.A. Works. The Day I Became a God is scheduled to be broadcast from October 2020.
