The official website and accounts for the upcoming The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic TV anime launched today, releasing a brand-new teaser trailer, teaser visual and staff info, as well as announcing the anime’s premiere in 2024.

The anime’s main staff includes:

 

  • Director: Takahide Ogata (Motto! Majime ni Fumajime Kaiketsu Zorori)
  • Series Composition: Shogo Yasukawa (A Certain Scientific Railgun)
  • Character Design: Kenji Tanabe (BLUELOCK)
  • Animation Studio: Studio Add, Shin-Ei Animation

 

The anime adaptation of the series was originally announced in August 2021.

 

The original web novel written by Kurokata began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in March 2014, with the print editions featuring illustrations by KeG published by MF Books from March 2016 to March 2020 with a total of 12 volumes. A manga adaptation illustrated by Reki Kugayama began in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comp Magazine in April 2017 with 12 volumes released as of March 2023. One Peace Books releases the English adaptation of the light novel and manga, and describes the series:

 

Usato, an ordinary high schooler, happens to run into two fellow students after school one rainy day. Suddenly, all three of them are engulfed in a magic circle and transported to a fantasy world. There’s just one tiny problem—Usato is simply dragged along by accident! On top of that, Usato learns that he is capable of using healing magic—an incredibly rare affinity in this new world. Now Usato must spend his days with the rescue team thugs, struggling through their hellish training regimen—learning the wrong way to use healing magic.
