Shinichi Fukuda's My Dress-Up Darling Manga Surpasses 5 Million Copies Printed

 

 

It was confirmed on February 22 that a total print run of Shinichi Fukuda's cosplay-themed romantic comedy manga My Dress-Up Darling had reached a milestone of five million copies.

 

The manga has been serialized in Square Enix's Young Gangan since January 2018 and its latest ninth tankobon volume is set to be released in Japan on March 25, 2022. When its TV anime adaptation started airing on January 8, 2022, the total number was 3.5 million, but thanks to the fans' passionate support and the well-received anime, it has added a huge 1.5 million copies only in a month and a half.

 

The manga's author thanks the fans on Twitter, "The total print run has reached five million copies! Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased my manga!"

The TV anime My Dress-Up Darling premiered in Japan on January 8, 2022, and its DVD/Blu-ray first volume that includes its first two episodes is set to be releeased on March 23, 2022.
