30th Crayon Shin-chan Film Releases Full Trailer Featuring Theme Song by Ryokuoushoku Shakai

Toho has released a 100-second full trailer for the Crayon Shin-chan anime franchise's 30th feature film Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Mononoke Ninja Chinpuden featuring its theme song "Hi wa Mata Noboru" (The Sun will Rise Again) performed by the four-member Japanese rock band Ryokuoushoku Shakai.

The band made their major debut from Epic Records Japan in November 2018 and previously provided the theme songs for the TV anime My Hero Academia and Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, but this is the first time for them to perform a theme song for a anime feature film.

They say, "We have been raised on 'Crayon Shin-chan,' reading the manga and watching the anime many times, so we were really honored and happy to be asked to work on the theme song for the film. However, that made us nervous and we felt a lot of responsibility, but we were able to write this song with confidence." The CD single of the song is set to be released on April 20, 2022.

The film is set to be released in Japan on April 22, 2022. It is directed by Masakazu Hashimoto (TARI TARI, Soul Eater Not!), who previously worked on the 21st, 23rd, and 27th films, based on a screenplay co-written by himself and Kimiko Ueno (The Royal Tutor).

Its story begins when Hesogakure Chiyome appears in front of the Nohara family and introduces Chinzo, the child she brought with her, saying, "He is your real child." Meanwhile, Shinnosuke is taken away to the "Ninja Village" where only ninjas live. The Hesogakure clan is a ninja family that has been protecting the "Earth's Navel" as a user of the "Mononoke no Jutsu" for generations, and Shinnosuke is their heir. When the plug of the "Earth's Navel" is pulled out, the Earth will wither and tomorrow will never come... Shinnosuke is not a child of the Nohara family, but a child of the ninja who protects the earth!
