Yuma Uchida & Nao Toyama Join Shinkalion Z as Driver Candidate Brothers

 

 

 

The official website for the train transforming robot anime franchise Shinkalion has announced two additional voice cast for its ongoing second TV anime series Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z - Yuma Uchida (Ramune in Dr. Ramune: Mysterious Disease Specialist) as Shimakaze Anjo and Nao Toyama (Rin Shima in Laid-Back Camp) as Nagara Anjo. 

 

Shimakaze is a sixth grader living in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. He is a driver candidate of the "Shinkarion Z N700S" and the older brother of Nagara. He is also a student of traditional karate. He has a broad perspective and a calm personality. He keeps the N700A key ring given to him by his father.

 

 

 

 

Nagara is a fourth grader living in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. He is a driver candidate of "Shinkarion Z N700S" and younger brother of Shimakaze. He is also a student of full-contact karate. He is always in high spirits. He is an expert on warlords of the Sengoku period.

 

Toyama wrote about her role on Twitter, "I will be playing the role of Nagara Anjo, a driver candidate for Shinkarion Z N700S! Nagara is a hot karate boy, and I am just honestly facing the role with all my heart and soul. I'm glad to have met Nagara! I hope you'll enjoy it!"

 

 

 


 

Shinkalion is an original character content co-created by JR East Planning, Shogakukan-Shueisha Production, and Takara Tomy. Its first TV anime Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion the Animation was aired for 76 episodes from January 2018 to June 2019, then followed by a feature film Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: Mirai kara Kita Shinsoku no ALFA-X (Godspeed ALFA-X that comes from the future) in December 2019. Its second TV anime Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z has been broadcast in Japan since April 9, 2021.
