Original Web Anime Night World 2nd Episode will Arrive on June 4

 

 

Following the well-received first episode, the second episode of Yoru no Kuni / Night World, the Ryotimo (Ryosuke Sawa)-directed original web anime project featuring songs by Aimer, is set to be posted on YouTube at 23:00 (JST) / 07:00 (PST) on June 4, 2021. The first episode was posted on Aimer's official YouTube channel on April 16 and has been viewed more than 550,000 times so far.

 

Aimer's new song "Trill" from her sixth original full album "Walpurgis" was featured as the theme song for the anime's first episode, and she provides her another new song "Gracenote" as the theme song for the second episode titled "26-ji no Sagashimono" (What I am searching for at 26:00). The song is introduced in a trailer below.

 

Junichi Suwabe (Keigo Atobe in The Prince of Tennis) reprises his role as Yoru, a resident of the Night World who is tall and has the appearance of a large bird. And Emi Nitta (Honoka Kosaka in Love Live!) voices the second episode's protagonist Tsumugi. She is a young girl who is having trouble adjusting to her new friendships. On the night that she threw away something precious with her best friend, she meets Yoru. She rejects the alien world that has suddenly appeared, but...
