A week ago, Japanese confectionery company Lotte announced a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba campaign, giving lucky slayers the chance to win candy and merchandise based on the hit TV anime and manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge. But on August 27, Lotte announced the second prize – and probably the best one – Nezuko's box full of candy!
Here are the first run prizes:
The prizes are will be given away in a lottery system, where people who purchase over 500 yen (US$4.75) worth of Lotte Chewing Gum can go into the running to win:
- Prize A: The Gumball Machine, which will be available for 100 winners.
- Prize B: Nezuko's mouthguard, thta you can put gum into, and an original gum holder, available for 200 people.
- Prize C: A set of 5 clear files, given out to 10,000 winners.
But, for those who miss out on the above will go in the running for Nezuko's box, which will be filled with confectionery. The boxes are limited to 1,000 people, but 100 luckier people also get an adorable original Nezuko pillow!
The campaign starts in Japan on September 1 and goes for the entire month but you must have a mailing address in Japan. The notification for winners, and the prizes being shipped, will happen in December.
