IDOLY PRIDE Project Releases Its First Anime Music Video featuring Sparkling Stage Performance

During the virtual live program "Music Program #1" streamed lats night, the idol-themed mixed-media project IDOLY PRIDE introduced its first anime music video "Sayonara kara Hajimaru Monogatari" (A Story that Begins from Good-bye) performed by Hoshimi Production's ten idols. The pop tune is written/composed by Masayoshi Oishi, well-known as the creator of the theme song works for the Kemono Friends anime franchise.

The IDOLY PRIDE project is co-produced by Cyber Agent's consolidated subsidiary QualiArts, Sony Music Entertainment group's Music Ray'n, and character content planning company Straight Edge.

Also in the program, it was confirmed that the IDOLY PRIDE TV anime series is set to premiere in Japan in January 2021. The TV anime is produced by Cyber Agent's newly-launched animation label CAAnimation, while Lerche (Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) works on actual anime production. So this music video is a good sample to see how the atmosphere of the TV anime will be.
