Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Announced

Throughout the day, Ubisoft has been exhibiting a livestream of artist BossLogic as he creates a digital piece that shows off the next setting for the Assassin’s Creed game. With the piece now complete, it’s clear that the next installment of the long-running series will transport players back to some variation of the Viking world. As the stream came to an end, we also got an official name: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Details remain scarce about the new game, but the first piece of key art offers some clear suggestions of what we can expect, including Viking longboats, medieval forts, and of course, fierce melee combat.

We’ll be following the game closely over the coming days and months. Stay tuned for Valhalla's world premier trailer tomorrow, April 30 at 8 AM Pacific time.
