Even though it's always time to get in the robot Shinji, you could get your grub on before taking your LCL bath. New collaborations between Japanese food brands Marumiya and Morinaga Milk help you have a full Evangelion-themed feast.
The "Medium spicy" Beef Curry
Announced on March 26, the Japanese curry and ice cream foods are being released ahead of the scheduled release of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0, set for June 27. Marumiya is releasing the above Shinji curry and two types of Japanese garnishings for beef bowls, a seaweed wasabi flavor, and salmon flavor. Each pack of Marumiya goods comes with one of 12 trading cards featuring an original design of one of the characters from Evangelion.

For those with a sweet tooth, Morinaga Milk has repackaged its popular Pino-branded chocolate-covered ice cream (which tastes amazing by the way) with a sleek Unit 01 skin and a NERV pattern on the inside. While you won't be feeling the hot rage inside of Shinji like you would the curry, you will be getting one of three special picks, including the pick of Longinus!
Unfortunately, both the Marumiya and Morinaga Milk foods are Japan only, but if you're in the region, you'll be able to pick up the curry from April 23 and the ice cream from April 6, both for a limited time only!
