While we still don't know all that much about the upcoming TV anime for Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club as both it and the other upcoming Love Live! TV anime series gets trickles of more news every month, a new illustration of the girls from Nijigasaki High School was released on July 29, showing off their anime designs and personalities.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is based on the group that debuted in the Love Love! School Idol Festival ALL STARS mobile game. Tomoyuki Kawamura (Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon) will be directing the series at Sunrise, with Jin Tanaka (Cinderella Nine, Go! Princess Precure) looking after the series composition, and Takumi Yokota (animation director on Love Live! Sunshine!! The School Idol Movie Over the Rainbow, chief animation director on Gourmet Girl Graffiti) drawing the character designs, as well as the new illustration.
It hasn't been announced when Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club will be joining the TV stage as of yet.
