Novel Illustrator Draws Gorgeous Box Art for Saekano: Fine Film DVD/Blu-ray

 

 

The official website for the Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fine film has revealed a box art for the perfect limited-production editions of its DVD/Blu-ray to be released in Japan on September 23, 2020. The gorgeous illustration is newly drawn by the Sakekano novel's original illustrator Kurehito Misaki. September 23 is also the birthday of the anime's main heroine Megumi Kato.

 

 

 

 

The 115-minute final installment of the anime series was released in Japan on October 26, 2019, and earned 730 million yen on 510,000 admissions from its domestic run.

 

In addition to the film's disc, the perfect limited-production editions will also come with a digi-jacket illustrated by the anime character designer Tomoaki Takase, a drama CD written by the novel author Fumiaki Maruto, the film's soundtrack CD, a special booklet, and two-version audio commentary by the voice cast and staff, bonus video footage including the 30-minute stage greeting event, and an advance entry coupon for the ticket for the "Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fes.Fine" event.

 

The "Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Fes.Fine" event is scheduled to be held at Tachikawa Stage Garden in Tokyo on April 25, 2021. The anime's four main voice cast members: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Tomoya Aki), Kiyono Yasuno (Megumi Kato), Saori Ohnishi (Eriri Spencer Sawamura), and Ai Kayano (Utaha Kasumigaoka) are confirmed to appear. The price of the ticket is 7,800 yen (about 74 US dollars) and one advance entry coupon can be applied for one ticket.
