given—both the anime and the fictional band once known as The Seasons—is coming your way with a new album, including songs that will be new even to the most devoted fans!
The 8-track mini-album, titled gift, will feature voice actor Shogo Yano singing for Mafuyu Sato. In the mix will be an insert song from the film, the TV series ending theme "Marutsuke," and insert song "Fuyu no Hanashi." Brand new songs, including "Hetakuso" and "STAGE Kara Kimi ni Sasagu" ("Dedicated to You from the Stage"), will also be included. The new songs, like the rest of the fictional band's work, are composed by Centimillimental.
A standard and special-edition release of gift will be available. Both come with a BD containing a previously unreleased music video for "Marutsuke," as well as information on the upcoming given movie. The limited edition adds on a T-shirt supervised by given creator Natsuki Kizu. Plus, depending on which store you order from, you can also pick up a clear file or a double-sized "mega jacket" for the CD.
A new "promo photo" for the band has also been released, showing them off in bright, poppy colors:
The given movie comes out in Japan on August 22. The mini-album gift goes on sale four days later, on August 26.
