Please Twins! Gets 20th Anniversary Screening with New Mini Movie

Please Twins!

Much like the 20th-anniversary celebrations of Please Teacher!, its sequel series is equally getting some time in the spotlight. The producers announced today that to celebrate two decades of the sci-fi romantic comedy series, Please Twins! will be holding a screening event with select episodes from the series.

20th anniversary visual for both series:

Please Teacher! and Please Twins!

For the event, which will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly on July 28, voice actors Mai Nakahara (Miina Miyafuji), Ai Shimizu (Karen Onodera) and Kikuko Inoue (Mizuho Kazami, the main female in Please Teacher!) will be making an appearance for a post-screening talk.

The brand new “mini-movie” is centered around the small alien creature Marie, which was produced by series director Yasunori Ide for the 20th anniversary.

Both Please Teacher! and Please Twins! are available to stream here on Crunchyroll, with the streamer describing Please Twins! as such:

Maiku Kamishiro grew up in an orphanage with no history of his family or of his past. Left with only a childhood picture of himself and another person in front of a house, he believes that the other person in the picture is his long lost twin sister. Upon discovering his old home, two young girls show up on his doorstep one day both claiming to be his long lost sister.
