Suspense Manga Tomodachi Game Gets Its New Live-action Drama in July

 

 

It is confirmed today that Tomodachi Game R4, a new live-action TV drama adaptation of Mikoto Yamaguchi (story) and Yuki Sato's (art) suspense shonen manga Tomodachi Game, is set to premiere on the TV Asahi network on July 23, 2022. It previously had a four-episode TV drama and two live-action films in 2017.

 

The main cast members of the new drama are chosen from Johnny & Associates' two boy idol groups, HiHi Jets and Bishonen.

 

C Group:

 

  • Yuichi Katagiri: Hidaka Ukisho (Bishonen)
  • Tenji Mikasa: Ryuga Sato (Bishonen)
  • Makoto Shibe: Mizuki Inoue (HiHi Jets)

 

 

K Group:

 

  • Kei Shinomiya: Naoki Fujii (Bishonen)
  • Juzo Kadokura: Taisho Iwasaki (Bishonen)
  • Hyakutaro Onigawara: Soya Igari (HiHi Jets)
  • Chisato Hashiratani: Issei Kanasashi (Bishonen)
  • Banri Niwa: Yuto Nasu (Bishonen)

 

 

 


 

The manga's TV anime adaptation produced by Okuruto Noboru premiered in Japan on April 6, 2022, and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll in sub and dub for its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS
