Meet 4 Members of Idol Group Mystery Kiss in ODDTAXI Stage Play

 

 

The forthcoming stage play "ODDTAXI: Diamond wa Kizutsukanai (Diamonds Can't Hurt)" tells a prequel to the ODDTAXI TV anime. which focuses on the formation of the idol group Mystery Kiss.

 

The play's main visual introducing the four cast members of the group has been revealed. In the visual, each of the four is spending their own time in a setting where they are waiting for an audition.

 

  • Rui Nikaidо: Yui Oguri (AKB48 member)
  • Sakura Wadagaki: Hiyori Hamagishi (Hinatazaka46 member)
  • Shiho Ichimura: Hitomi Suzuki (≠ME member)
  • Yuki Mitsuya: Nonoka Yamaguchi (former E-girls member)

 

 

 

 

"ODDTAXI: Diamond wa Kizutsukanai " is scheduled to be performed at Shibuya Cultural Center Owada's Densho Hall in Tokyo from July 14 to 18, 2022. Tickets have sold out almost as soon as they went on sale.

 

 

Synopsis:

 

One day in 2019. An audition for new idol members was held at a certain place in Tokyo. The three chosen from among many girls were Rui Nikaido, Shiho Ichimura, and Yuki Mitsuya. "The name of the group is Mystery Kiss." The girls, each with their own dreams, spend their days in lessons, aiming to make their debut.

 

However, the successful producer who is supposed to provide them with music is always unmotivated, and their secret social networking accounts spit out information known only to each other. Although they are supposed to be friends with the same goal of making their debut, the relationship between the three girls gradually begins to echo with dissonance.

 

There is another girl who is watching them. Sakura Wadagaki, who failed the audition. She, too, has a dream that she cannot give up.
