Pompo: The Cinéphile ED Theme MV Created by The Film's Main Staff is Now Streamed

Following the teaser clip introduced early this month, a full anime music video the ED theme song "Mado wo Akete" (Open the Window) for the anime feature film Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san / Pompo: The Cinéphile, performed by virtual female singe CIEL, is now available on YouTube.

CIEL, who is introduced as "a cross-border type female singer who travels between the real and the virtual, was chosen by director Takayuki Hirao as the ED theme song singer for the film. This music video is also directed by Hirao himself. He writes on Twitter, "The main staff from the Pompo-san film continued to work on this music video. We started working on it right after the film production was finished, and everyone did their best. Thank you very much to everyone involved!"

He also explains, "I started making this music video as a way to give back to everyone at Kamitsubaki Studio who participated in the project, and at the same time, I hoped it would be a 'story' like a 'festival' celebrating CIEL's departure. I thought it would be great if I could make a music video that affirmed her 'past' and celebrated her 'future." I hope you will enjoy it. May CIEL-san's singing voice reach far, far away."
