The official website for anison singer Eir Aoi announced today that she will perform the OP theme song "Atok" for the upcoming second cour of the TV anime Blue Reflection Ray. The song will be used from the anime's next 13th episode to be aired in Japan on July 9.
Aoi says, "The title is a play on the word 'AtoK.' 'AtoK' means 'Eir Aoi to the Past Karma.' It's a song about my determination to say goodbye to the days when I was assuming my own fate. I hope this song, with its theme of shadows and light, will reach your heart."
The song will be digitally available first on July 10, 2021, then its CD single will be released on August 4, 2021, as her 20th single.
