TV Anime Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway New PV Announces April 5, 2021 Premiere

 

 

Along with a key visual and a two-minute main PV, the official website for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Shimesaba's romantic comedy light novel series Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kousei o Hirou. / Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway announced today that it is set to premiere on TOKYO MX, BS11, and AT-X on April 5, 2021. project No.9 (Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!) works on anime production.

 

The new PV also introduces the anime's OP theme song "Omoide Shiritori" (Memory Word Chain) performed by the eight-member voice actress unit DIAROGUE+. The unit was formed in june 2019, and this is their fourth anime theme song work following their first single song "Hajimete no Kakumei!" (High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World OP), their second single "Jinsei Easy?" and third single "Ayafuwa Asterisk" (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki OP and ED). 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The novel was first posted on KADOKAWA's user-generated novel publishing website KAKUYOMU in 2017, then its print edition has been published from its Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint since its following year. So far five volumes has been released and its total print run has reached 1.5 million copies.

 

Synopsis:

 

On his way home from a night of drinking after being dumped by his crush, Yoshida, a 26-year-old office worker, meets a high school girl named Sayu sitting on the street. Drunk as a skunk, he stays the night with Sayu. The next morning, he wakes up to a delicious aroma of miso soup on the dining table. He can't kick out Sayu, who has run away from home and has nowhere else to go, so he decides to allow her to live with him on the condition that she does some housework. In this way, a strange communal life between a runaway high school girl and a businessman begins.
