Voice actor agency 81 Produce announced on June 5 that Nanami Yamashita, best known as Yui Ohtsuki in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, will cancel her appearance at the "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS -Kagayaki Yomatsuri-" event on June 11. The concert event featuring the voice cast members from the game/anime series will be held on June 10 and 11 at Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, where Yamashita was scheduled to peform on the second day.
Their statement writes: "Nanami Yamashita has been feeling some discomfort in her physical condition for some time now, and upon consultation with her doctor, she has been diagnosed with signs of a recurrence of a congenital disorder and has been advised to refrain from strenuous exercise for the time being. Therefore, we have made this decision to take it easy on her and to help her recover as soon as possible. Please be assured that there is no impact on her daily life or her voice work at the studio."
Yamashita herself wrote on her official Twitter account as below:
To all of you who have always supported me. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. I will now focus on treatment and slowly work at the jobs that I can do. I would be happy if you let me rest, and support with all my hearts so that the day of the concert will be enjoyable day for all the fans and performers! Because I'm causing so much trouble, I will face my treatment so that when I fully recover, I will do all my work to the best of my ability and bring smiles to your faces more than ever. Thank you for your continued support!
ご迷惑をおかけしている分、完全回復した際は全てのお仕事を今まで以上に精一杯、そして皆様に笑顔を届けられるよう、治療と向き合います。
