Sakura Sakakura Joins Love Live! Superstar!! as New First-Year Member Tomari Onitsuka

During the web radio show streamed on June 11, it was announced that Sakura Sakakura will be voicing Tomari Onitsuka, one of the two new first-year student members who will join Liella!, the school idol unit in Love Live! Superstar!!. She was selected from the second general audition held from the fall of 2022 to spring of 2023.

After the announcement, she also wrote on Twitter: "I am Sakura Sakakura and I will be playing the role of Tomari Onitsuka! I'm really happy to be joining my all-time favorite series, Love Live!, and Liella! I still have a lot to learn, but I will do my best to grow step by step! I would appreciate your support!"

Another new first-year student member, Wien Margarete, who is voiced by Yuina, was already featured in the TV anime second season. And Yuina also made a guest appearance in Liella!'s third live concert tour held from December 2022 to March 2023. The visuals of the two are also revealed.

As Liella!'s first concert tour as a 11-member unit, "Love Live! Superstar!! Liella! 4th LoveLive! Tour ~brand new Sparkle~" is scheduled to hold at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on August 19 and 20 (as KALEIDOSCORE edition), at Port Messe Nagoya in Aichi on August 26 and 27 (as CatChu! edition), and at Musashino Forest Sport Plaza in Tokyo on September 9 and 10 (as 5yncri5e! edition).

As the fourth installment in the Love Live! anime franchise, the first season of the TV anime Love Live! Superstar!! aired for 12 episodes from July to October 2021, then the second season with another 12 episodes followed from July to October 2022.
