The official accounts for the Me & Roboco series by Shuhei Miyazaki announced today the series will receive a theatrical anime film adaptation slated for winter 2024. To celebrate the announcement, this week's chapter of the manga featured Roboco's path onto the silver screen, while the TV anime ended on a "cliffhanger" involving Bondo and Roboco that was resolved in the official announcement teaser posted to YouTube, embedded below:

Akitaro Daichi (Tonkatsu DJ Agetaro) directed the TV anime at studio Gallop (Initial D, Kodocha). Additional key staff members include assistant director Michihiro Sato, series composition writer Sayuro Ooba (FIRST LOVE MONSTER) and character designer Yuko Ebara (animation director for Delicious Party Pretty Cure). The Me & Roboco manga is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump beginning in July 2020. VIZ Media publishes the English version of the manga and describes the series:
