ClariS Shares Their Message on Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence Anime Opening Theme

 

As reported, anisong duo ClariS will provide "Koisekai," the opening theme for the forthcoming summer 2023 TV anime Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence. It will be their 23rd anime theme song work, following "ALIVE" (TV anime Lycoris Recoil opening theme) released in August 2022.

While the release schedule for the song has yet to be determined, at the same time with the announcement, they released their message on the song as below:

 

We are ClariS and we are going to sing the OP "Koisekai" for "Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence." "Koisekai" is a song that depicts a cute romance with a catchy melody! With lines that seem to speak for Cecilia's feelings, our hearts can't stop fluttering with the lyrics full of feelings for Lawrence... ♪ The distance between the two is frustrating, but we giggle at the mysterious relationship between the two, which also make us feel it comfortable. How their relationship will turn out... We are also looking forward to the release of the anime ♡.

 

Their official Twitter also reported that the filming of the music video for the song took place yesterday, on June 14.

 

 

 

Along with the ending theme song "Tokoshiesuta" by Sasanomaly, the opening theme song "Koisekai" was introduced for the first time in the anime's latest second trailer posted yesterday. The rom-com fantasy anime is set to premiere in Japan on July 12 and will also be simulcast on Crunchyroll.
