The new clip depicts Japan's first nuclear submarine, the Seabat, defying the intense bombardment from fighter planes and diving into the deep sea, while playing Mozart's Symphony No. 41, "Jupiter." The submarine is followed by the Ronald Reagan, a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier of the U.S. Seventh Fleet.
Shiro Kaieda (Takao Osawa), equipped with nuclear missiles on the world's most advanced high-performance nuclear submarine, embarks on a shocking escape, saying, "I need power to realize my ideals." In contrast, Hiroshi Fukamachi (Hiroshi Tamaki), captain of the diesel submarine "Tatsunami" of the MSDF, shows his strong determination, saying, "If I think you are wrong, I will stop you even if I have to sink you." What is Kaieda's ideal? What is Kaieda's true intention, as he smiles fearlessly at the point of a gun?
