According to a report on Deadline, a director has been tapped for Hollywood's live-action adaptation of ONE and Yusuke Murata's One-Punch Man manga. That duty goes to none other than Justin Lin (Fast & Furious), who just recently departed Fast X over creative differences.
The One-Punch Man movie is being written by Scott Rosenberg & Jeff Pinkner (Jumanji: The Next Level, Venom), with Avi Arad and Ari Arad of Arad Productions producing along with Lin. The director is currently working with the pair of screenwriters on rewrites, and aims to begin production by the end of the year.

One-Punch Man started as a webcomic by ONE (Mob Psycho 100) before Yusuke Murata hopped on board as artist for a new digital and print release. VIZ Media publishes the series in English and Crunchyroll streams the anime, which is described like so:
Saitama started out being a hero just for fun. After three years of “special” training, he became so powerful that he can defeat opponents with a single punch. Now, alongside Genos, his faithful cyborg disciple, Saitama is ready to begin his official duties as a professional hero working with the Hero Association.
However, the frequency of monster appearances is surging and it increasingly appears as if the Great Seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth’s doom is coming true. In the midst of this crisis, the “hero hunter” Garou makes his own appearance.
