Shaman King Reboot Anime Releases Striking OP Movie before Its TV Premiere

Prior to its TV premiere in Japan this evening, the official website for the upcoming reboot TV anime based on Hiroyuki Takei's Shaman King manga has posted a 90-second creditless OP movie featuring the OP theme song "Soul salvation" sung by none other than Megumi Hayashibara. She also performs the anime's ED theme song "#Bokunoyubisaki" (#My Fingertips) and reprises her role as the main heroine Anna Kyoyama.

Her 43rd single including the OP and ED theme songs will be available on April 14, 2021. Before to its CD release, the OP song has been already availavle digitally from today.

The new Shaman King TV anime is set to premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliates at 17:55 on April 1, 2021 (JST), and will be streamed on Netflix Japan from 19:00 on the same day.
