God has spoken! Some quick news for fans of the Heaven's Design Team TV anime: the animated adaptation based on the divine office comedy manga written by Hebi-Zou and Tsuta Suzuki and illustrated by Tarako is getting a bonus episode that will stream in Japan exclusively on Amazon Prime Video beginning on April 01, 2021.
In the bonus episode, the design team is tasked by God to come up with 5 unique animal designs...and then combine them all into a single animal. Hijinks and hilarity ensue.
The Heaven's Design Team TV anime is directed by Sôichi Masui and features animation production by Asahi Production. Crunchyroll currently streams the series, and describes the story of Heaven's Design Team as follows:
I made the light, the water, and the earth below. Now it's time to make the life that dwells upon it. Actually... that sounds like a giant headache, so I'll contract it out! Heaven's Design Team is an agency that creates made-to-order life forms for their client, God. Why does this life form look like that? Why does this life form live this way?
