The official website for Studio Colorido's second original anime feature film Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu (Wanting to Cry, I Put on a Cat) announced today that its theatrical release in Japan is postponed to a future date in view of the situation of the COVID-19 infections.
The film co-directed by Junichi Sato (Sailor Moon, Sgt Keroro) and Tomotaka Shibayama (Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash sub-director) on a screenplay by Mari Okada (Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, The Anthem of the Heart) was originally set to be released in Japan on June 5, 2020. The new release date will be announced on the film's official website as soon as it is decided.
