Future Black Clover TV Anime Episodes Postponed Due to COVID-19 Concerns

Black Clover

The official Black Clover TV anime website announced today that new episodes, starting from May 5, of Black Clover will be delayed due to the State of Emergency and ongoing effects of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Japan.

Here is the official statement from the website: “Thank you for supporting Black Clover. We have continually put the health and safety of staff, cast, and other parties as our number one priority, but due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the broadcast and streaming schedule of episode 133 [and onwards] will be postponed.”

The official website will announce when new episodes will once again air.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, alongside the special coronavirus taskforce, declared a State of Emergency in Japan for the entire country on April 16, which will stay in effect until May 7 at the earliest.
