The official Black Clover TV anime website announced today that new episodes, starting from May 5, of Black Clover will be delayed due to the State of Emergency and ongoing effects of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Japan.

新型コロナウイルス感染拡大の影響を受け、5/5(火)以降の放送及び、配信を延期させて頂くことになりました。
そのため、5月からはシリーズ第1話からの再放送をお送り致します。

Here is the official statement from the website: “Thank you for supporting Black Clover. We have continually put the health and safety of staff, cast, and other parties as our number one priority, but due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the broadcast and streaming schedule of episode 133 [and onwards] will be postponed.”
The official website will announce when new episodes will once again air.
Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, alongside the special coronavirus taskforce, declared a State of Emergency in Japan for the entire country on April 16, which will stay in effect until May 7 at the earliest.
