
NHK Anime World announced on Twitter on April 25, just after the airing of episode 4, that production on MAJOR SECOND Season 2 TV anime has been postponed due to the ongoing effects of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Starting next week, the NHK will be rebroadcasting the second season of MAJOR SECOND TV anime starting with episode one. It will be announced at a later time when episode 5 and onwards will air.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, alongside the special coronavirus taskforce, expanded the previously declared State of Emergency in Japan for the entire country on April 16, which will stay in effect until May 7 at the earliest.
