With its second season completed, Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These is preparing for another run—this time as part of NHK's educational line-up!
All 24 episodes of the new adaptation will run on NHK E Tele, which specializes in programming of an educational or cultural nature. The broadcast was decided last month, and will start in early April. To promote the new run, new key visuals are available of Galactic Imperial leader Reinhard von Lohengramm:

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These is one of many adaptations of Yoshiki Tanaka's epic sci-fi novel series. The story follows a far-future war between the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance, each led by an equally brilliant tactician. Prior to Die Neue These, the story was adapted into multiple anime films and three OVAs totalling up to 162 episodes. The new series begins its NHK E Tele run on April 6.
