News like this definitely bears repeating!
Kumanano and 029's web novel Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear ("Bear Bear Bear Bear") announced an upcoming anime adaptation in January, and now we're getting our first look at the new isekai series. The show stars Yuna, a hardcore gamer in a fully immersive fantasy MMO. After a recent update, she gets new high-powered gear—a bear kigurumi with hand puppets—after which she's transported to a world resembling the game.

The two main characters also have voice actors attached. Lazy bear-suited gamer Yuna will be played by Maki Kawase (Junko Konno, ZOMBIE LAND SAGA). Her new friend Fina, a ten-year-old working to support her ailing mother, is played by Azumi Waki (Mile, Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!).
Check them out in the show's first key visual—a real Kodiak moment:

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear will be directed by Yuu Nobuta (High School Fleet) and animated by EMT Squared (A Destructive God Sits Next to Me). No release date has yet been confirmed for the series.
