[Click here to view the video in this article] Fans of fan-favorite Game of Thrones lauded one of its cast members for sharing an inspiring photo proving that mothers should be able to nurse anywhere . Gemma Whelan, who plays the character ‘Yara Greyjoy’ in HBO’s hit series, uploaded an image of herself breastfeeding her daughter while she was shooting GoT’s eighth season. While still in her character’s costume and face paint, she posed for a snap with her child, whom she welcomed in 2017. In her caption, she assured fans that the picture wasn’t a spoiler; rather, it was merely a peek at her actual life and how she fed her child in between takes. Her photo has garnered positive responses from mothers all around, who labeled her “empowering” and “beautiful.” Whelan also recently confirmed on Good Morning Britain that she would breastfeed her baby on set between takes, sometimes even in costume. She also joked that her baby was present during the entire filming process, and would be aware of what happens at the show’s ending. Fortunately for HBO, she can’t tell anyone.
