Virtual Singer Isekaijoucho to Perform Opening Theme for Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time Season 2

Hip-hop unit Hilcrhyme now has its theme song partner in time, as the upcoming sequel to 2020's Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time today announced that virtual singer Isekaijoucho will be making their full anime debut with "Kurenazumu Yakusoku" ("Dimming Promise") for the opening theme, written and composed by Kashii Moimi.

 

It also announced that the second season, subtitled "Super Extra", will premiere on Tokyo MX in Japan on October 9 later this year.

Based on the manga by Daisuke Hiyama, Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time: Super Extra is being directed by Tatsumi at studios WolfsBane and Seven, with series composition by Nora Mori and character designs by Koh Kawarajima, starring the following cast members:

  • Yui Ninomiya as Luvellia
  • Hibiku Yamamura as Lisa
  • Ayana Taketatsu as Mimi
  • Akari Uehara as Vegan
