Bloom Into You Stage Play's Remake Version "encore" Newly Set for This Fall

 

 

"Bloom Into You encore," a remake version of the stage play adaptation of Nio Nakatani's yuri romance manga Bloom Into You, is newly set to be performed at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Club ex from November 25 to December 4, 2022. As part of the "Curtain Call" project, the new version was originally slated for the fall of 2020 but has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The popular yuri manga was serialized for 45 chapters in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh from April 2015 and to September 2019. It was compiled in eight tankobon volumes and its total print run surpassed one million copies in November 2019. It was adapted into a 13-episode TV anime in the fall of 2018.

 

The manga's first stage play adaptation was performed at Space Zero in Tokyo from May 3 to 12, 2019. According to the play's official Twitter, the remake version "encore" tells the story up to the last volume of the original manga while being based on the first play. All of the main cast members, including Misato Kawauchi as Yu Koito and Moeka Koizumi as Touko Nanami, will return.
