Voice actor Miho Arakawa, who is best known for voicing Himari Takakura in Penguindrum and Meiko Mochizuki in Digimon Adventure tri, revealed on her Twitter account that she had recently gotten married and is currently pregnant with their first child together. Arakawa said in the post that it was thanks to those around her that she was able to “enter a healthy and secure stage of life.”

Arakawa confirms in the above Tweet that despite being pregnant, she’ll continue to work until such a stage when the baby is born while paying close attention to her health and wellbeing.

Himari in Penguindrum was the debut role for Arakawa, and with the second RE:cycle of the PENGUINDRUM compilation film being released in Japan today, it seems Arakawa’s announcement of her good news is in celebration of the film’s premiere (or the premiere of the film is in celebration of Arakawa’s announcement!).
